Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Principal Electrical Component Engineer to join the Parts, Libraries and Obsolescence Department. This remote position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 8 years of experience, focusing on integrated circuits and component selection. Responsibilities include verifying component reliability and interacting with stakeholders. Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Component MIL drawings, standards, test specifications, and associated QPLs and QMLs.

Responsibilities

• Understand program requirements and Statements of Work (SOWs) for component application requirements.
• Provide technology insertion and parts selection guidance.
• Generate component drawings and associated verification data packages.
• Review reliability and construction data for Part and Material Control Board review.
• Interface with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop component risk verification.
• Facilitate component selection and libraries application through program BOM.

Skills

Experience with integrated circuits, semiconductors, and passive devices.

Knowledge of component selection, screening, qualification, and derating for military and aerospace.

Experience with BOM development and management.

Education

Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
