Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Principal DevOps Architect to lead enterprise DevOps, cloud architecture, containerization, software delivery, and automation. This role will define architecture best practices and partner with development, cloud, security, and operations to deliver scalable solutions for enterprise and government programs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years enterprise IT experience with solution architecture and government programs.
• Full-stack development experience with .NET 4/8, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Vue.js.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling capabilities.
• Experience with IAM technologies including OIDC, SAML, JWT.
• Familiarity with AWS services and secure software design.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement DevOps and Containerization best practices and release pipelines.
• Lead training and instill best practices in the DevOps Engineering team.
• Define, develop, and implement the configuration management system for SDLC.
• Manage source code in Version Control; mentor junior staff.
• Collaborate with Cloud Services for installations/upgrades/deployments/containers.
• Develop automation scripts for build, deployment, and versioning.
• Resolve complex issues in version control and CI systems.
• Work with developers, testers, and IT ops to automate builds/deployments and CI environments.
• Oversee large, technically complex projects and assure service delivery excellence.
