Maximus is seeking a Principal DevOps Architect to provide technical leadership across enterprise DevOps, cloud architecture, containerization, software delivery, and automation. This role will establish architecture and engineering best practices, guide complex technology initiatives, and partner with development, cloud, security, and operational teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions supporting enterprise and government programs.

This is a fully remote position with 15% travel.

Qualifications

• 15+ years enterprise IT experience preferred.
• Full-stack development with .NET 4/8, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Vue.js.
• Strong SQL Server experience and data modeling.
• Experience with AWS and secure software design patterns.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement DevOps and containerization best practices across the enterprise.
• Lead evaluation of business needs and industry best practices to align with goals.
• Mentor DevOps engineering team and promote best practices.
• Define and implement configuration management supporting the SDLC.
• Manage source code in Version Control; support CI/CD pipelines.
• Coordinate cloud service deployments, upgrades, and containerizations to enable self-sufficiency.
• Develop automation scripts for build, deploy, and versioning.
• Resolve complex problems related to VCS and CI systems.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and IT ops to automate builds and deployments.
• Oversee large, technically complex projects and ensure service delivery excellence.
