Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer - Principal for a remote role. The role provides expert engineering for encryption, cryptography, and security platforms, aligned with enterprise strategy.

Candidate will design, implement, and support cyber security solutions across systems, networks, and mainframe contexts. Required are 8+ years in security tech with a strong crypto focus, PKI expertise, and relevant certifications; preferred are CISSP/CRISC and a master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in cybersecurity required.
• 8+ years in production support and design of cyber security tech.
• 1+ year implementing cyber security tools (hardware or software).
• Strong understanding of cryptography and network security.
• Experience with PKI and certificate lifecycle tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, implementation, and delivery of Post Quantum Cryptographic solutions.
• Provide SME in cryptography, including FIPS 203-205 and NIST candidates; network and mainframe context.
• Develop and maintain cyber security solutions aligned to enterprise strategy.
• Other duties as assigned.
