Job summary

Connection is seeking a Principal Cloud Solution Architect to guide enterprise cloud transformations across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will align technology roadmaps with business goals, mentor architects, and collaborate with sales, executives, and delivery teams to modernize infrastructure and drive long-term cloud adoption.

You will operate in a high-visibility role, shaping Connection's cloud practice and advising clients on secure, scalable solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and enterprise infrastructure.
• Current cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
• Proven success leading complex cloud transformation and migration projects.
• Extensive experience in customer-facing, consultative technology roles.
• Ability to engage and influence senior IT executives and business leaders.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, automation, and governance.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise clients to understand business objectives and technology strategies.
• Design and architect cloud solutions leveraging Azure, AWS, GCP, hybrid cloud, and cloud-native technologies.
• Lead strategic discovery sessions and solution workshops with executive and technical stakeholders.
• Develop cloud modernization roadmaps that align technology investments with business outcomes.
• Guide clients through large-scale cloud migrations, application modernization, DevOps adoption, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and optimized for long-term success.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior IT leaders and decision-makers.
• Support pre-sales engagements, solution positioning, and RFP responses.
• Mentor architects and contribute to the continued growth of Connection's Cloud Center of Excellence.
• Stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies, market trends, and industry best practices.
