Job summary

Sonova USA, Inc. is seeking a Principal, Clinical Scientist to provide scientific leadership across global clinical development programs for innovative medical device technologies.

You will design studies, support regulatory submissions, generate evidence, and communicate findings across the product lifecycle. The role requires a Master's degree (Life Sciences or related), 8+ years in clinical development or Medical Affairs, and strong scientific writing and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or related field.
• Eight+ years in clinical development, clinical research, Medical Affairs, or Scientific Affairs, including protocol development.
• Experience producing Clinical Study Reports and regulatory documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific design and oversight of pivotal, post-market, and real-world studies from concept to publication.
• Develop protocols, CSRs, literature reviews, and other regulatory documents.
• Support regulatory submissions with scientific justifications and health-authority interactions.
• Analyze and interpret clinical evidence to guide development and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, QA, R&D, and external experts to advance programs.
• Lead development and review of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and publications.
• Support publication strategies and scientific training for conferences.
