Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a Principal Clinical Scientist to lead regulatory and clinical trial strategies for US and EU markets. You will drive study designs, ensure compliance, and coordinate with R&D, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs to accelerate product clearance and market access.

You will collaborate with global sites, publish findings, and mentor junior scientists while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of evolving regulatory standards in diagnostic technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field with significant clinical research experience.
• Experience in US/EU regulatory submissions and trial conduct.
• Strong understanding of diagnostic/medical device regulatory environment (FDA, CE).
• Excellent communication and collaboration across R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Quality, and Commercial teams.
• Ability to review data and oversee study protocols and reports.

Responsibilities

• Design clinical study strategies and evidence plans for global regulatory submissions.
• Serve as scientific liaison with regulators, KOLs, and external sites.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align clinical programs with product development.
• Author and review technical files, study reports, and publications.
