Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Principal Clinical Scientist to lead clinical trial design and evidence strategies for US and EU regions. You will drive regulatory submissions, liaise with authorities and key opinion leaders, and collaborate across R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Quality teams to align programs with product development and market access needs.

The role supports Beckman Coulter Diagnostics’ mission to deliver regulated, high-quality diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field with 9+ years of experience in clinical research, US/EU trials.
• Master’s degree with 12+ years of experience or Doctoral with 4+ years in the same field.
• Deep understanding of clinical study design and regulatory/industry standards for US/EU markets.
• Ability to interpret trial data, oversee study protocols, and write technical reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Design clinical studies and evidence strategies supporting global regulatory submissions (FDA/CE).
• Act as liaison with regulatory bodies, key opinion leaders, and external sites.
• Partner with R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Quality, and Commercial teams.
• Author and review clinical/regulatory documents to support clearance and commercialization.
• Mentor scientists and maintain expertise in evolving regulatory standards.
