Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Principal Research AI Innovation Lead to partner with scientists, identifying high-impact AI opportunities to accelerate research. You will shape multi-year GenAI strategies, lead workstreams, and build reusable components for robust, traceable AI-enabled research workflows.

Qualifications

• BS/8+ years or MS/6+ years or PhD/4+ years in relevant fields.
• Strong background in AI, ML, or computational sciences.
• Experience shaping long-horizon research agendas and governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with scientists to identify high-impact AI opportunities to improve research speed, quality, and decisions.
• Shape multi-year GenAI strategies; lead workstreams; create reusable building blocks.
• Architect and implement an agentic system-of-systems for long-horizon research workflows with coordination and governance.
• Define rigorous evaluation/benchmarking standards including grounding, uncertainty, and monitoring.
• Incorporate provenance and research context to improve systems over time.
