Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in the United States seeks a senior AI & data scientist to build, deploy, and maintain AI applications for R&D quality challenges, including custom RAG pipelines and agentic systems.

You will scale operational analytics in enterprise platforms (Dataiku, Power BI/Spotfire) and partner with the GxP AI Governance program to ensure regulatory compliance, validation playbooks, and monitoring protocols.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 5+ years in pharma/biotech/tech.
• 5+ years Python, R, and advanced SQL for ML/forecast/optimisation.
• RAG architecture, LLM API, and MLOps experience.
• Dashboards in Power BI/Spotfire; ETL/data knowledge.
• Cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Regulated GxP exposure and AI governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain AI apps for R&D quality challenges.
• Scale operational analytics in enterprise platforms (Dataiku, Power BI/Spotfire).
• Collaborate on GxP AI Governance program with validation playbooks.
• Translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify high-value AI use cases with business leaders.
• Mentor QA team; upskill on modern tech stacks and LLMs.
• Represent the company in cross-functional forums.
