Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to design and build full-stack applications turning operational data into AI-driven decision tools. This hands-on role involves front-end and back-end development, AI feature embedding, and leading junior engineers to deliver production-quality solutions.

You will collaborate with BI developers and platform architects to shape the AI application strategy and deliver impactful analytics across supply chain and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience building and shipping full-stack applications to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications and services across the full software lifecycle.
• Embed AI into applications with ML models, LLMs, and agentic workflows.
• Lead code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, and secure-by-default practices.
• Mentoring junior engineers and BI developers; translate business problems into project plans.
• Partner with BI leadership on roadmaps and stakeholder requirements.
