Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Principal Software Engineer to design and build full-stack, AI-powered analytics applications that drive supply chain decisions. You will craft front-end and back-end services, embed ML features, and guide junior engineers to deliver production-grade solutions.

You will collaborate with BI teams, platform architects, and stakeholders, shaping the application roadmap while ensuring code quality, security, and scalable architectures. Remote-friendly with in-person orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience building and shipping full-stack applications to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications and services across the full software lifecycle.
• Build responsive front ends and back-end services deployed to the cloud.
• Embed AI features and semantic search, with knowledge graphs and ontologies.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and BI developers.
• Establish CI/CD, automated testing, and secure-by-default practices.
