Job summary

GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, full-time, remote Validation Coder for Primary Care to support coding quality and compliance initiatives. You will perform secondary reviews of coded medical records to ensure precise ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier coding in line with client guidelines and regulatory requirements.

The role operates during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, in a flexible remote setting.

Qualifications

• Current CPC, CEMC, CCA, or CCS credential through AAPC or AHIMA required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional fee coding experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of coding validation, auditing, or quality assurance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifier usage, and CMS/AAPC guidelines.
• Experience with EPIC and other EMR platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Validate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier assignments.
• Review and verify coding accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
