Job summary

HealthTap is seeking U.S. board-certified primary care physicians (MD/DO) to manage a diverse patient panel entirely from a home office. You will deliver initial and ongoing primary care through our virtual platform and build long-term patient relationships with flexible scheduling.

Physicians licensed in NJ, FL, TX, or GA or with multiple state licenses are preferred, and we provide comprehensive malpractice coverage and a supportive team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (ABFM, ABIM, AOBFP, or AOBIM).
• Active, unrestricted US medical license in good standing. Must be licensed in NJ, FL, TX, or GA or hold multiple state licenses.
• 4+ years of post-residency clinical practice in the US.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality virtual care via video visits using a compliant device.
• Evaluate and manage patients with ongoing care needs and promote preventive care.
• Prescribe medications electronically when appropriate (excluding DEA/state-scheduled drugs).
• Order and review labs and provide follow-up recommendations.
• Write SOAP notes with follow-up recommendations after visits.
• Refer to in-person care when necessary.
• Participate in peer-review and quality-improvement initiatives.
