Job summary

One Medical in the United States is hiring a Primary Care Physician for a fully remote role focused on comprehensive and longitudinal management of a new patient panel. You will advance One Medical's virtual primary care footprint by combining clinical excellence with proactive patient engagement.

This full-time position requires at least 32 clinical hours per week, with flexible hours and occasional in-person care at your home market.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in, or completed, an Internal or Family Medicine residency program.
• Outpatient primary care experience within the last 5 years.
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year.
• Active California medical license with willingness to obtain multi-state licensure for virtual care.
• Experience or strong interest in telehealth and virtual care delivery.
• Ability to build and sustain patient relationships in a virtual setting.
• Willingness to obtain licensure across multiple states for virtual primary care and remote care in other MSAs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting virtual visits across a broad spectrum of primary care needs including acute, chronic, preventive, and mental health care
• Establishing strong patient relationships to drive continuity of care
• Collaborating with virtual care teams, health coaches, behavioral health specialists, and consulting physicians to coordinate comprehensive care
• Participating in weekly Clinical Rounds and continuous learning through other modalities
• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues as part of a virtual care team
• Contributing to the development and refinement of virtual panel-building workflows and best practices
• Build and maintain a sustainable patient panel, achieving schedule utilization benchmarks
