Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an experienced Storage Architect focused on unstructured workloads and AI-driven data pipelines. This highly visible, customer-facing role shapes storage platform architecture and strategy for AI and large-scale data workloads.

You will lead workshops, run POCs, and collaborate with product teams to define requirements and drive the roadmap. Travel will be extensive to engage with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing unstructured storage solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Strong customer-facing experience with technical solution design and delivery.
• Proven expertise with file protocols NFS & SMB and S3 object storage.
• Hands-on with AI data pipelines including inferencing and RAG.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable file and object storage solutions for customers.
• Lead workshops, assessments, and POCs to validate fit and performance.
• Design storage architectures supporting AI/inference and RAG pipelines with throughput and latency focus.
• Collaborate with product management to translate requirements into enhancements and roadmap.
• Provide thought leadership, competitive analysis, and positioning to stakeholders.
• Present technical solutions to executive and technical audiences.
• Maintain knowledge of unstructured storage trends, cloud integrations, and emerging tech.
• Support pre-sales engagements and RFIs/RFPs with best-practice guidance.
