Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an experienced Storage Architect focused on unstructured workloads, hybrid cloud storage architectures, and AI-driven data pipelines. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role with influence over solution direction and product strategy.

You will design scalable file and object storage, lead POCs, and collaborate with product management to translate requirements into roadmap priorities while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing unstructured storage solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Strong customer-facing experience with technical solution design and delivery.
• Proven expertise with file protocols NFS, SMB, and S3.
• Hands-on with AI data pipelines including inferencing and RAG, and tuning for large workloads.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Architect and document enterprise-grade file and object storage solutions for customers.
• Lead POCs to evaluate performance, scalability, and integration across platforms.
• Design storage architectures supporting AI/inferencing and RAG pipelines with throughput and latency focus.
• Collaborate with product management to capture requirements and influence the roadmap.
• Provide competitive analysis and positioning strategies to stakeholders and customers.
• Present technical solutions to executive and technical audiences.
• Stay current on unstructured storage trends and cloud integration.
• Support pre-sales engagements, RFIs/RFPs, and solution justification based on best practices.
