Aston Carter is hiring a Premium & Billing Analyst for a 100% remote, contract-to-hire role. The position focuses on managing premium billing operations, reconciling payments, and supporting policyholders across multiple systems. A 4-month onboarding program and potential conversion to permanent employment await the right candidate.

You’ll manage payments, audits, and inquiries while collaborating with cross-functional teams, with opportunities to advance as experience grows.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of billing, premium accounting, accounts receivable, or billing analyst experience
• Insurance industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience with ACH processing and payment reconciliation
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• Excellent written communication skills; ~95% of interactions via email
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional accuracy

Aufgaben

• Process and allocate premium payments (ACH, checks, wire)
• Reconcile premium balances and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor D&U and suspense accounts
• Process lapses, terminations, reinstatements, late payments
• Conduct premium audits during onboarding, renewals, and maintenance
• Set up and maintain group billing arrangements and statements
• Research and resolve billing inquiries from policyholders, brokers, TPAs, and internal teams
• Analyze billing trends and identify process improvements
• Partner with Account Management, Customer Service, Finance, and Policy Administration
• Train team members on billing processes and systems
