Job summary

MotivHealth Insurance Company seeks an Accounts Receivable Manager to lead AR operations, ensure accurate premium billing, and drive process improvements. You will mentor the AR team, coordinate with internal departments, and support audits while maintaining strong internal controls.

The role requires a dedicated home workspace and ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment, with a focus on timely financial close and accurate receivable reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounts receivable experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze large financial data.
• Experience with billing, collections, reconciliations, and general ledger.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounts receivable operations including premium receivables, billing, cash application, collections, reconciliations, and account maintenance.
• Guide AR team by setting priorities, reviewing work, providing feedback, and monitoring performance.
• Oversee accurate and timely recording of premium payments and other cash receipts.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and drive timely collection efforts.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies involving premium billing and group accounts.
• Prepare schedules and reconciliations for audits and external reviews.
