Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Three years relevant insurance experience.
• Two years Premium Audit experience.
• Progress toward professional designations preferred.
• Knowledge of workers compensation insurance and classification rules.

Responsibilities

• Performs virtual and field audits within established authority level.
• Contacts agents to review audit results prior to invoicing on large accounts.
• Collects data and documents needed to calculate premium liability.
• Interviews policyholders to obtain payroll and personnel records.
• Performs physical audits on multi-state accounts as required.
• Communicates completed audit information with internal stakeholders.
