You will review financial records, payroll data, and subcontractor details to determine accurate exposure and premium for policyholders.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and several years of insurance audit experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required or equivalent
• Three years insurance premium audit experience preferred
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation and class codes
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policy documents and financial data

Responsibilities

• Performs virtual and field audits within authority levels
• Contacts agents to review audit results before invoicing on large accounts
• Collects data and documents to calculate premium liability
• Interviews policyholders for payroll and personnel details
• Conducts multi-state audits as needed
• Communicates audit results to stakeholders and ensures understanding
• Reviews policy info using workers’ compensation rules and class codes
• Notifies BU of necessary changes to ensure proper endorsements
• Maintains confidentiality and works with minimal supervision
• Leads and mentors premium audit staff as needed
