Job summary

Selective Insurance in the United States is seeking a Premium Auditor for Commercial Lines who will conduct in-person and virtual audits, determine premium bases, and collaborate with underwriting and customers to ensure accurate classifications and exposures.

The role requires travel within territory (70-80%), strong Excel skills, ability to work independently, and a college degree in Insurance, Accounting, Finance or related field plus APA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate and work independently
• Willingness to travel to insureds' offices daily within territory
• Proficiency with computer tools including Microsoft Excel and internet research

Responsibilities

• Manage, schedule and conduct physical/virtual audits for Commercial Lines policies
• Provide notification to underwriting of changes in exposures after audits
• Resolve audit disputes and prepare amended audits for billing
