Job summary

CNA Insurance is seeking a Premium Audit Consultant to handle the Midwest territory with audits primarily in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. This work-from-home role requires timely completion of remote/hybrid audits and some business travel within the territory to perform on-site audits at customer premises when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent. Advanced degree or professional designations preferred.
• Experience with ISO, NCCI & Independent Bureau States such as the California WCIRB is required
• Typically a minimum of five years of related work experience.
• PAAS Certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Audits of highly complex accounts to substantiate policy classifications and premium basis.
• Interviews with insured to understand operations and risk.
• Analyze client records for audit preparation and data accuracy.
• Communicate audit findings to agent and underwriting; flag potential fraud.
• Prioritize audit workload and manage junior staff guidance.
• Travel as needed for on-site audits within territory.
