Job summary

CNA Insurance is seeking a Premium Audit Consultant to manage audits for the Midwest region with a home-based setup and occasional travel for on-site reviews. You will determine policy classifications, premium bases, and exposures in line with ISO, NCCI and related Bureau policies.

Ideal candidates hold a accounting/finance degree, 5+ years of experience, and familiarity with ISO/NCCI; PAAS certification is a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent.
• Experience with ISO, NCCI & Independent Bureau States such as the California WCIRB is required.
• Typically a minimum of five years of related work experience.
• PAAS Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of highly complex accounts and determine premium basis.
• Interview insured to assess operations and risk.
• Prepare data and communicate audit findings to underwriters and agents.
• Travel to client sites for physical audits when required.
• Lead training for junior audit staff and monitor accuracy of classifications.
• Stay current on trends and developments in the insurance auditing field.
