Job summary

CNA Insurance seeks a Premium Audit Consultant to manage the Midwest territory, auditing Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. This work-from-home role includes remote/hybrid audits and some travel for on-site reviews of Property & Casualty policies.

Responsibilities include establishing classifications and premium bases per policy, with strong emphasis on ISO, NCCI and Independent Bureau rules. Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (preferred).
• Experience with ISO, NCCI & Independent Bureau States (e.g., CA WCIRB) required.
• Typically five years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of highly complex accounts and develop proper premium basis.
• Interview insured to obtain information on operations and risk.
• Analyze client operations and accounting records for accuracy.
• Identify and communicate audit findings and premium exposures.
• Prioritize audit load within the territory.
• Provide training to less experienced audit staff.
• Stay updated on industry trends and developments.
• Assist in operational audits as needed.
