Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a call center, contact center, or telephone-based customer service role.
• Strong communication and active-listening skills.
• Comfort handling multiple computer systems and documenting information accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
• Good judgment and ability to recognize when to refer or escalate.
• Dependability, punctuality, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of inbound calls from physician offices, hospitals, patients, and other callers.
• Document call details, messages, actions, and follow-up needs in approved systems.
• Route or escalate precertification-related questions to the appropriate team.
• Verify precertification requirements and identify requests needing additional processing.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and security in all communications.
• Complete assigned outbound calls and other telephone-based duties as needed.
