Job summary

Bureau Veritas seeks a Concrete Inspector to oversee quality assurance at a fabrication facility for clients such as state DOTs or contractors. The role requires significant precast/prestressed concrete knowledge, strong documentation, and the ability to work remotely with travel to various sites.

Reports and timesheets are prepared in Word/Excel and reports are submitted electronically to the Project Manager; the candidate must read and interpret blueprints and perform inspections with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum in concrete construction with at least one year in precast/prestressed work.
• ACI Level I Field Technician Certification is required.
• PCI Level II certification is required.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Strong computer literacy with MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA for fabrication facility on behalf of the client.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, shops, contractors and third parties to meet requirements.
• Generate and process timesheets, billing reports and inspection reports on schedule.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate upcoming assignments.
• Work remotely from Bureau Veritas offices and travel to sites as needed.
