Qualifications

• Experience developing diagnostics, validation, verification, firmware, embedded software, or similar tests for ASICs or complex digital systems.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain chip-level validation tests for HPE Slingshot ASICs using emulator-based environments.
• Design and implement scalable test infrastructure and automated test frameworks.
• Create software-driven test content validating Slingshot functionality and networking protocols.
• Debug hardware/software issues found during validation with design, firmware, and software teams.
• Contribute to validation planning, identify coverage gaps, and propose new test scenarios.
• Support bring-up activities for new ASIC revisions and platforms.
• Document results, defects, and lessons learned to improve future validation.
• Participate in design/validation reviews and post-silicon issue triage.
