Job summary

The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC is seeking a Pre-litigation Assistant for our Personal Injury team. The role starts remotely and will transition to our Stockton, CA office, supporting clients from intake to settlement with meticulous case management.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree and have 2–5 years of pre-litigation experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Suite and case management software. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 2–5 years of case management (pre-litigation) experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent telephone customer service etiquette and support, with active listening.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through the case process from intake to settlement.
• Monitor cases and communicate treatments and responses to clients.
• Maintain client records with case notes and progress.
• Lead weekly meetings to report client progress.
• Request medical records and manage government claim forms.
• Draft letters of representation and preserve evidence.
• Ensure file completeness for demand and potential litigation.
