Job summary

The successful candidate will manage multi-tasking in a fast-paced setting, provide training, and liaise with sponsors to secure appropriate approvals and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or 4 years of sponsored programs/research administration experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and nonprofit grant rules and regulations.
• Experience with pre- and post-award process and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-award administrative support and guidance to faculty preparing proposals.
• Ensure submissions meet sponsor requirements and deadlines per policy.
• Negotiate terms with partners to ensure compliance and feasibility.
• Train and mentor junior staff on proposal development and budgeting.
• Act as liaison between PIs and sponsors during negotiations.
• Support workflow improvements and policy updates in OSP.
