Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Public Relations Coordinator to support our communications team. This role focuses on executing PR campaigns, managing media relations, and ensuring smooth information flow in a fully remote setting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in PR/Communications or related field with 1–2 years of PR experience, excellent writing and speaking skills, and strong organizational abilities to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in PR, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in PR/communications, preferably with remote work exposure.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with PR software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of public relations campaigns and strategies.
• Schedule and coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and virtual events.
• Monitor media coverage and compile daily/weekly press clippings reports.
• Support maintenance of media contact databases and stakeholder lists.
• Draft and proofread press releases, social media posts, and other communications materials.
• Provide administrative support to the PR team, managing calendars and correspondence remotely.
