Placements24 seeks a Public Affairs Specialist to lead external relations from a fully remote position. You will monitor policy developments, craft advocacy materials, and engage with government bodies, regulators, and community groups to advance the company’s interests.

The role requires a political mindset, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to manage a caseload independently. You will support CSR initiatives and help shape long‑term public policy objectives across sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Communications, or related field.
• At least 4 years in public affairs, government relations, or policy-focused roles.
• Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes.
• Excellent research, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working remotely and managing a caseload independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting the organization.
• Develop and implement strategies to engage with government officials and policymakers.
• Prepare position papers, policy briefs, and advocacy materials for stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, industry associations, and community leaders.
• Analyze public opinion and media coverage related to policy issues.
• Support CSR initiatives and community outreach.
