Coalition Technologies is a fully remote company that values growth, creativity, and a collaborative work environment. We seek a PR specialist with strong media relations skills to write press releases, secure coverage, and manage outreach across influencers and journalists.

You will maintain the PR database, liaise with media, analyze niches, and develop tailored PR strategies to maximize exposure for clients. Remote-friendly role requiring 40 hours/week PST availability.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with PR and Social Media.
• Preferably a Journalism background or media training.
• Flawless written and spoken English.
• The ability to write and distribute PRs.
• Strong professional relationships with writers, journalists, bloggers, and other influencers.
• The ability to secure media coverage for clients.
• A profound understanding of online communities and content marketing.
• Experience with services such as HARO and MuckRack.
• Published and placed content on authoritative sites.

Responsibilities

• Write press releases as a PR specialist.
• Keep and organize the PR database.
• Respond to information requests from the media when needed.
• Liaise between the client and media.
• Analyze various niches and verticals, including competition within them.
• Scrutinize clients’ websites to identify linkable assets.
• Develop custom PR strategies and tactics based on analysis to maximize efficiency.
• Locate and vet viable link prospects and opportunities.
• Craft compelling outreach emails.
• Maintain outreach conversations with regular follow‑ups.
• Engage and interact via social media.
• Potentially represent clients’ companies online.
• Organize and maintain multi‑faceted campaigns.
• Help maintain the organization’s corporate image or brand.
