Jacobs is seeking a Power System Studies Engineer to support projects and proposals in the renewable energy sector. This flexibly remote position offers the chance to work with teams across North America on exciting projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 4 years of experience in system studies, particularly for utility-scale renewable projects. A collaborative spirit and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Salary ranges from $70,800 to $93,000 based on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of direct experience with system studies on utility scale renewable projects.
• Knowledge of applicable industry standards such as IEC, IEEE and CIGRE.
• Ability and willingness to travel within North America.

Responsibilities

• Perform power system studies including load flow and short circuit.
• Support system studies project lifecycle from bid to execution.
• Work closely with team members across North America and globally.
