The energy industry, particularly transmission grids, is undergoing major changes to accommodate for regional and global decarbonization and energy transition targets. Underground and subsea cable technology are, in particular, increasingly becoming a major player in this energy paradigm shift to enable large‑scale renewable energy generation, such as offshore wind, green hydrogen or large interconnectors.
As a Power System Studies Engineer, you will closely work with regional and global power systems teams to support and/or lead ongoing projects as well as business development and proposal support with a variety of clients including renewable developers, transmission owner/developers as well as utilities.
The successful candidate shall demonstrate related experience and technical knowledge in power system modeling and analysis with renewable generation through past experience with consulting engineering firms, developers and/or utilities. Prior knowledge of electrical system studies from the conceptual engineering phase through the FEED‑ready phase related to renewable generation interconnection is preferred. Knowledge of the offshore wind/HVDC will also be seen favorably.
This position is flexible and can be remote anywhere in North America. However, preference would be given to candidates located in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, Boston, Orlando, or Dallas/Fort Worth US.

The base salary range for this position is $70,800.00 to $93,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
