Job summary

Applied Digital is seeking a mid-level Power Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our Energy Strategy organization. This role will lead evaluation, monitoring, and compliance with evolving regulatory structures impacting energy supply for data center projects.

The ideal candidate will drive across the full project lifecycle, coordinating with engineering, operations, legal, finance, and regulatory teams. The position reports to the VP Energy Strategy and sits at the center of governance and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory management with electric utilities, consulting firms, or large loads.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related field, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Experience interfacing with wholesale power market RTOs/ISOs and their regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with regulatory bodies including NERC, FERC, and RTO/ISOs.
• Identify and track compliance with regulations for computational loads and energy supply.
• Manage regulatory filings, approvals, and compliance reporting.
• Interface with project teams and third-party consultants to support schedules and obligations.
• Drive execution, risk management, and project progress once requirements are defined.
