Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Asset Management Program Manager/Senior Project Manager to lead multi-year, multi-site inspection and asset management programs for power generation clients. You will own execution, client coordination, and continuous improvement.

This role blends remote work with occasional travel to client facilities and in-office days. You will guide inspection strategies, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor staff while ensuring quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or a minimum of 10 years of directly relevant Asset Management or Project Management experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably within a consulting engineering or asset integrity environment.
• Experience supporting asset-intensive industries such as power generation, oil and gas, refining, chemical processing, manufacturing, steel, mining, or materials processing.
• A strong understanding of inspection planning, risk-based prioritization, asset lifecycle decision-making, and program governance.
• Proficiency with project management tools, project controls, and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with operations, maintenance, engineering, and management personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and collaborate in a consulting environment.
• Ability to commute to local client facilities and travel occasionally to support other Orbital offices or programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspection and asset management programs across multiple facilities, setting strategy and ensuring execution.
• Serve as the primary client contact and align work with asset lifecycle goals, risk tolerance, and priorities.
• Guide inspection planning, risk-based prioritization, and program improvements; share findings with engineering.
• Hire, supervise, and develop staff; set goals and conduct performance reviews.
