Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee power distribution programs, providing strategic direction, mentoring PMs, and managing client relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor KPIs, optimize workflows, and drive program execution from planning through closure. This is a remote role with an in-person orientation at the Perrysburg, OH headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology or Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years in Power Utility industry with engineering/operations/PM and financial oversight.
• At least 3 years in people management with experience managing managers.
• Willing to travel 30%+ and pass background/drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program execution from start to finish, providing strategic direction and mentorship to project managers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Attend industry events and lead client-facing program updates and reviews.
• Manage program cost forecasting and budgeting over the life of the project.
• Ensure successful program closure, including lessons learned and post-program evaluations.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and manage risks and opportunities.
