Job summary

Sigma Technologies, Ltd. is seeking skilled Power Distribution and Make Ready Designers to support overhead pole design, clearance analysis, and make-ready construction packages. Remote (U.S.) role with in-person orientation at Perrysburg, OH HQ.

Experience in pole loading, NESC, and related platforms is essential. Review field data, assess attachment conditions, and prepare construction-ready deliverables while adhering to quality, time, and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Execute overhead distribution or make-ready design work orders
• Apply engineering design standards and NESC requirements
• Perform end-to-end make-ready, joint-use, and general distribution design
• Conduct permitting and easement research (pole ownership, ROW)
• Collaborate with team to resolve design challenges and produce accurate deliverables
• Use CAD/MicroStation and other design tools
• Perform quality control reviews
• Support additional duties as assigned
