Job summary

Paradigm Technology is seeking an experienced Power BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions. You will build dashboards, data models, and reports, translating complex data into actionable insights for banking/financial clients.

You will optimize SQL queries, implement DAX measures, collaborate with business and tech teams, and ensure data quality and security across reports. This is a remote position with exposure to cloud data platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Azure.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on Power BI experience including Power Query, DAX, data modeling and visualization.
• Advanced SQL skills with relational databases.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.
• Understanding ETL/ELT, dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to create reliable reporting solutions.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Develop and maintain DAX measures, calculations, and KPIs.
• Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, security, and consistency across reports and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot reporting, data integration, and performance issues.
