Job summary

UST is seeking a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards for the healthcare domain. You will translate business needs into data models, connect to diverse data sources, and collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and SMEs to deliver compliant, high-performance reports.

Qualifications

• 6 - 10 years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling techniques.
• Solid understanding of healthcare data (claims, eligibility, member/provider data, or clinical data).
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL) and writing T-SQL.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, PHI).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Translate requirements into data models and metrics.
• Connect to data sources (SQL Server, Excel, cloud services) and build data models using Power Query and DAX.
• Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and SMEs in healthcare.
• Ensure reports meet performance, usability, and accessibility standards.
• Validate and reconcile data across systems for accuracy.
• Document report logic, definitions, and visuals for compliance.
• Work within HIPAA to manage sensitive data responsibly.
