Job summary

Quetica is seeking a full-time Power BI Developer to support a State of Minnesota project. Responsibilities include writing and extracting SQL, validating student loan data, developing Power BI dashboards, and migrating legacy reports to Power BI.

The role also covers configuring Power BI within the Power Platform, establishing security, and providing user training. The work is performed remotely with a focus on delivering reliable BI services, complex visualizations, and proactive data quality

Qualifications

• Advanced Power BI development experience (5+ years).
• Experience validating student loan data." (forbearance data) may be included; ensure data quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a Power BI Service reporting environment.
• Develop dashboards and custom UI visualizations for business users.
• Perform data validation across multiple data sets for quality and accuracy.
• Document reporting specifications and technical details for stakeholders.
• Lead training and knowledge transfer on Power BI usage.
• Migrate reports from Tableau/Crystal Reports to Power BI where needed.
• Implement security, accessibility, and access management for reports.
