Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a PowerApps Developer for a full-time remote role supporting government contracts. The position requires designing, developing, and sustaining canvas and model-driven Power Apps using Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and external APIs with a focus on security and governance.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, able to obtain Secret clearance, and hold CompTIA Security+ CE.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required to comply with applicable government contract requirements.
• Clearance Level: No Clearance required, but previously cleared candidates preferred.
• Security Level: Must have held a CAC within the past 2 years
• Certification: Current CompTIA Security+ CE
• Education: Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience or High School Diploma and 6 years of experience.
• Years’ Experience: >1 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages).
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Canvas and model-driven Apps, data sources, data modeling, and connectors.
• Code-based background: JavaScript, Python, Power FX
• Location: Remote position anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain Power Apps canvas and model-driven apps.
• Collaborate with clients to identify requirements and milestones.
• Integrate with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, and external APIs.
• Write and maintain Power Fx, JavaScript, and related code.
• Develop Power Automate flows with robust error handling and retries.
• Prepare deployments across multiple environments and manage solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies within the Power Platform.
