Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an Applications Engineer for Poultry North America. The role is remote with travel to customer facilities to gather requirements, assess lines, and tailor our portioning software and robotics options.

You will analyze data, communicate results, and drive process improvements. A BS in Engineering or related field and 1+ years of tech/robotics experience are required, with US work authorization. Travel approximately 90% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Food Science, Poultry Science, or Meat Science.
• 1+ years of experience with computers, software, and robotics concepts.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• You will work directly with customers on site at their food production facility.
• Gather and prioritize customer requirements while on site, assess production lines, and provide feedback for process improvement.
• Locate information, explore options, identify a solution, and tailor portioning system software to meet customer needs.
• Measure data, analyze trends, and communicate results. Coordinate customer visits based on priorities.
