Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales of complex poultry processing solutions across a regional territory. You will collaborate with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, and partners to build and implement market plans, justify value, and grow market share while meeting customer requirements.

You will train and support Account Managers, manage sales targets, and maintain CRM data. Regular travel within the territory and fluent English are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in outside business-to-business sales of technical/mechanical systems, preferably with an international company.
• Excellent skills in written and verbal English.
• The commitment to travel within the assigned sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Work in close collaboration with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, Distribution Partners, and Regional Sales Operations
• Participate in the process of establishing and implementing a structural industry market plan for a region
• Drive the sales of complex solutions; justify their value and help increase JBT Marel’s market share while meeting customer requirements
• Support and train Account Managers within depth process knowledge
• Be responsible for realizing sales (targets in volume and achieving the best possible price and market share for complex solutions)
• Be responsible for visit reports, opportunity registration and follow-up (maintaining data in Company CRM systems)
• Collect information on competitors’ activities, installed base, requirements, and developments
• Meet KPI (Key Performance Indicators) goals with sales and margins
