LanguageBird, a premier online language school, seeks passionate Portuguese instructors for the 2026-27 school year. This remote role invites instructors worldwide to create engaging one-on-one lessons via Microsoft Teams and to foster student growth through project-based learning and authentic language use.

Requirements include 1–2+ years of Portuguese teaching, native-like proficiency, a Bachelor's degree, and comfort with educational technology. Evening US time zones preferred.

Formación

• 1–2+ years of experience teaching Portuguese online or in a school setting.
• Native-like proficiency in Portuguese.
• Experience working with middle school and/or high school students preferred.
• Familiarity with educational technology and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Teach engaging one-on-one online lessons using Microsoft Teams.
• Create a supportive and personalized learning environment that promotes student engagement, confidence, and success.
• Assign and provide timely feedback on class performance, homework assignments, and projects.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate grades and academic records.
• Communicate professionally and proactively with students, families, and LanguageBird staff as needed.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and respect in all interactions.
• Participate in required training.
