Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Portfolio Manager on the Gas Power Systems Architecture Team. You will own budget management, governance, and business case oversight, prioritizing initiatives to deliver value across engineering, finance, and product strategy.

You will support resource planning, update portfolio data in key tools, and guide senior leaders on portfolio health, risk, and cost optimization in a remote US role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, product management, engineering operations, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing budgets, business cases, and financial planning processes.
• Ability to communicate complex program and portfolio information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven insights.
• Interpersonal and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the Systems Architecture Team’s budget at the program and initiative level.
• Guide prioritization, funding planning and allocation, and approvals through governance bodies.
• Support resource planning with Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Finance, and other partners.
• Update portfolio data in RISE, Wave, and other program management tools.
• Schedule gate reviews and ensure governance adherence across sub-programs and initiatives.
• Develop and oversee business cases, maintaining templates and key assumptions.
• Track portfolio KPIs and provide insights to leadership and stakeholders.
