Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Contract Portfolio Manager for Gas Power to drive profitability and customer satisfaction on assigned contracts. You will interface with project teams, manage service agreements, and oversee financial and technical metrics while guiding staff development and contract administration.

You will coordinate with customer service, parts, field service, and other teams to resolve issues, negotiate changes, and ensure timely project delivery across remote US operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years power industry experience.
• 3+ years field engineering / gas or steam turbine maintenance.
• Ability to work within two Florida sites and remote coordination.

Job Description Summary

As the Contract Portfolio Manager, you will need to demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives within Gas Power. You will be responsible for the profitability and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts and customer obligations, provide service agreement, fixed price, and time and material program management, and interact with members of the customer service, parts and transactional services, field service, repair service, and/or other teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

All contract performance related activities , typically tied to a customer site. Perform in the role as the interface between the customer and the project team, managing the transfer of information and requests.

Assure timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the project, and negotiate changes and variations and solutions to any issue arising. Responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract. Perform proposal negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision - Provide support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts Function as the liaison for the customer on contract matters

Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.

Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college OR or a High School Diploma / GED and a minimum of 5 years Power Industry experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience with field engineering / Gas or Steam turbine maintenance experience

Must live within 1 hour drive of the two sites that are covered by this role. Sites in the Orlando, FL and Cocoa, FL area.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,400.00 and $152,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
