Qualifications

• 7+ years in high-stakes political communications.
• Direct experience in Congressional offices, political campaigns, or agency rapid-response environments.
• Proven on-the-record spokesperson experience with national media.
• Fluency in US regulatory and legislative landscape.
• Strong relationships with Tier 1 political and financial journalists.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own the communications strategy for high-stakes legislative and regulatory initiatives.
• Partner with legal and policy teams to translate policy positions into public narratives.
• Lead earned media by leveraging relationships with national journalists for coverage.
• Drive digital communications across X and other platforms to policymakers and crypto community.
• Shape advocacy communications highlighting consumer impact of pro-innovation policy.
• Build Coinbase's brand authority through multiple election and regulatory cycles.
