Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Manager of Government Relations to support state and local policy efforts, manage projects, and help develop internal policy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in government relations or related area.
• 3+ years navigating state/federal legislative processes.
• 3+ years managing cross-functional projects or teams.
• 3+ years engagement with external affairs or stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal government relations programs with project management support and policies.
• Monitor and analyze federal, state, and local regulations affecting Ryder; track advocacy outcomes.
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather content for policy strategies and external messaging.
• Develop analyses, talking points, and materials to support government relations objectives; manage content contributors.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including policymakers, trade associations, customers, and consultants.
